My primary choice for commission work is Watercolor.
However, I can complete a commission using pen and ink. If desired, I will then add color using watercolor or colored pencil.
To begin -- contact David via e-mail (see below) and attach a jpeg file of the photo or photos of you desired to have painted.
If it is only an
idea you have, feel free to run it by him. Anything from a stick figure drawing, to a specific sketch can help get the process going.
To be certain he has the information
he needs to create your vision, David will communicate with you directly,
typically by e-mail.
Once the plan for the painting, including the size and
dimensions, is complete, he will provide you with a price. At this point, a 25% down
payment is requested.
Making changes with watercolors can be a complicated process. Before starting to paint, David will sketch out your painting and e-mail a photo of it to you for approval.

Once he receives your approval and down
payment he will begin the painting.
He will send you a photo of the work, via e-mail, when
the painting is about 50% and again at 80%
complete. These two progress check point will help ensure that he is on track
with what you want.
Once the painting is finished, he will e-mail you to arrange delivery of completed work of art. When you are satisfied with your painting, the final payment is due within 10 days.
